# Vendor matrix: NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Hygon and Moore Threads

> Compare official Windows support and driver channels for NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Hygon and Moore Threads, with links to each vendor hub and the boundaries that decide what we will claim.

**Tested on**

- Build: 26300.9711 / 26100.33650
- Edition: Client / Server
- Architecture: x64
- Evidence: E1
- Verified: 2026-10-27

## The matrix

- **[NVIDIA](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/nvidia/)** (Game Ready / Studio): Full driver and control-panel path; measurement entries when a card is in the lab.
- **[AMD](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/amd-drivers/)** (Adrenalin / PRO): GPU + chipset drivers; Ryzen power and CPPC behavior is part of the stack.
- **[Intel](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/intel-drivers/)** (Arc / Core Ultra): Arc and integrated graphics; ReBAR and XeSS settings matter.
- **[Hygon](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/hygon-moore-threads/)** (Vendor / chipset): Not in Microsoft’s supported processor list. Treat Windows installs as unsupported and document the driver source.
- **[Moore Threads](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/hygon-moore-threads/)** (PES / MTT S80-S70): Official Windows driver channel, but game compatibility is limited and must be checked per title.

## Where each vendor hub lives

- [NVIDIA](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/nvidia/) — driver branch, control panel, rollback.
- [AMD Radeon](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/amd-drivers/) — Adrenalin, Windows Update conflicts, OEM laptop drivers.
- [Intel Arc and integrated graphics](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/intel-drivers/) — DCH packaging, hybrid graphics, MUX.
- [Hygon and Moore Threads](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/hygon-moore-threads/) — support boundaries without benchmark promises.

Cross-vendor reading that applies to all of them: [WDDM, HAGS and MPO](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/wddm-hags-mpo/), [driver rollback](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/driver-rollback/), and [GPUs in a VM](https://winbook.fyi/en/hardware/gpu/passthrough/).

## How to read “official support”

- **Tier A** means the vendor ships Windows client/server drivers and Microsoft supports the platform combination in the ordinary way.
- **Tier B does not mean “bad”.** It means the support path is narrower: Hygon is not certified by Microsoft, and Moore Threads’ Windows gaming stack is still maturing. We say that before we say “install this”.
- A vendor page can be useful without a benchmark. Driver branch, install order, rollback and known issues are content too.

## What we will not do

- Publish a “best GPU” ranking from affiliate data.
- Present a passthrough-VM result as a bare-metal result.
- Copy a vendor driver into a “driver pack”.
- Claim Hygon is officially supported because Windows boots.
